To His Glory
Every form of animation—whether traditional hand-drawn or stop-motion—demands time. It is, perhaps, the most time-consuming form of storytelling there is. Not only does the art form match our creative vision best,it teaches us patience, and endurance. Qualities, that go alongside prayer wonderfully. Each day we rise to continue our work—slowly, gently, and with care. A nervous soul cannot draw a genuine smile; unease would find its way into every line, every expression. The chaos of a restless mind flows through the hand and into the drawing. The eyes of the characters on screen reflect the inner state of their creator.
That is why we strive to work in peace, in prayer, and in silence. To rush the process would not only harm the final work, but also fail to honor the lives of the saints we seek to portray. So we take our time—with gratitude, with reverence, and with love.
We are deeply grateful for your patience and support as we continue to bring this film to life. It fills us with joy to see how each piece slowly finds its place, how fragments come together to form a whole.
We do not wish to keep this process hidden from you. That is why I have created a behind-the-scenes blog on Steady— a place where you can glimpse into our workshop and witness the beauty of creating this blessed project. Here you will find exclusive videos, from soothing time-lapse recordings to pages of concept art, each revealing a small part of the journey.
